Art Around the World goes to China

At the Pleasanton Library, we celebrated Chinese New Year with Parade Dragons, and Dom Roo Drums.  The younger group created very colorful dragons while learning about the Year of the Horse and Chinese culture.  The older children created a dom roo drum while they also learned about China.  All the children found out what year they were born into according to the Chinese custom.
