At the Niles Library, we designed our own candles. In Foster City, the adults and teens painted ceramics. In East Palo Alto, I taught a variety of cooking techniques with some fabulous help from the crowd, then everyone enjoyed all the foods we made. At the Irvington Library I taught patrons how to use a toaster oven, and how to make their own frosting. They enjoyed homebaked breads and food at that program as well. We also did Mexican Tin Art at the Fremont Main Library. I love seeing adults getting time to be creative. They need it as much if not more than the children do!! Look at the results of these programs.
