At the Pacifica Library the children learned about frogs and toads. I brought Fire-bellied Toads for them to admire as we learned the differences between the two. The children were so knowledgeable and shared their expertise as well. Then we made frog faces, and these were a great deal of fun!

Snow Art
At the Irvington Library we created snow art using white acrylic paint on black paper with glitter and snow flake confetti. The children took a great deal of time creating their pieces. Look at the beauty.
Owl Suncatchers
Sun Catchers are always a hit! These adorable owl sun catchers were loved by all. Look at the creativity!
Fall Stained Glass Art
The children enjoyed making their faux stained glass works of art. I love watching them create, using their imaginations to make beautiful art pieces.
Clay Play at Niles Library
What fun we had with the young ones at the Niles Library on December 11th, 2012. I brought many colors of Cloud Clay and let the children create whatever they fancied. I love giving them space to use their imaginations, and they sure did. Here are a few pictures of their creations.
Catching Up
I'm so far behind in updating my blog! Facebook has made it easy to keep in touch with so many and to post pictures of my events, so my blog has taken a backseat. A lovely woman told me today that she reads my blog but it was from last year, so I figured I should get in gear here and get some posts in. I'm adding pictures and posts from October 2012 through April of this year for you to peruse.
Memory Wire Bracelets
The younger children weren't included in the memory wire bracelet making at all of the county branches, so Fremont Main held a class just for the 6-8 year olds. They had a wonderful time creating their bracelets. This program has been extremely popular, and is also going to be offered for adults at Fremont Main on April 29th. Space will be limited, so sign-ups are required.
