The PAINT LIKE Teen+ events are Native American Artists I will present, then we will paint.  Great history time for your teens.  It has a plus + because we may not get enough Teens. They will have first priority for sign-ups, however.

ANTI-BULLYING AND ART PROJECT

With the teens today in a “harder” part of town. Right away, one teen starts telling me how hard her Home life is, and how the rug keeps getting pulled out from under her as she fights so hard to make it.  The other teens talked about how bullying has shaken their world.  This conversation is needed!!  Today’s librarian and I were moved to tears by the honesty and pain.  Here’s the art from a few of the teens.  I’m hopeful after three successful programs that more libraries will come on board.  Our talk and art project is working!!!  Contact me if you’d like this at your library, or School.  Let’s change the world!! I have a program for the 5-8, 9-12, and teens.
