Fabulous Family Time at Irvington

We had a great group of families come enjoy the crafting today.  Grandparents, Moms, and kids all have fun creating a Polka-dot Pumpkin, and Boo glasses.  The teens especially loved this class!

Halloween Bags at Fremont

48 kids, markers galore, and lots of fun creating Halloween treat bags.  The kids had a great time coloring their bags, and those who had extra time and creativity drew their own designs on the back of the bags.  Look at their art work!

Mexican Tin Art at San Lorenzo

This program is always so well received.  There was a glitch with the time, so hopefully next time more adults will enjoy their classes.  I enjoy seeing everyone truly enjoy working on this project.  Look at the beautiful results!

Fire Fly Jars for Teens

The minute this program was announced, adults were clambering to get into the class even though it was advertised for teens.  They were put on a waiting list.  We had many teens come for this program, and the adults were able to come as well.  They had such a good time!  Lots of chatting, laughter, and fun.  We had a number of young men attend this program as well.

Duct Tape Notebooks at Niles

The kids and teens had a great time making Duct Tape Notebooks!  Who doesn't love Duct Tape?  I really enjoyed seeing their creative juices flowing, and here are some results!

Frog Masks at Niles

Frog Masks are so much fun!  The kids had a blast making their masks, choosing their colors, talking about frogs, and the giggles were fun to hear.  The boys loved this craft too, although you won't see pics here because they were too busy being silly boys, chasing crumpled paper on the table trying to "lick up" their bugs!  This craft is always so popular, and the parents love watching their kids create, and then enjoy playing with their frog mask.

Quilling at Fremont Main Library

There was much anticipation for this program, with a waiting list filling up rapidly!  I taught the ins and outs of quilling, showed the different tools they can buy and use, then got everyone started. I had two helpers that made the learning easier, and these fine patrons got some awesome creating done.

DYO Journals with Teens

We had a great group of teen girls ready to create their own journals.  They enjoyed spending time picking out what they would use from the piles of pretties on a table, then get to work creating.  I loved seeing how their thoughts turned into such beautiful art!  They were quiet at the beginning but warmed up to be a fun group of girls.  One of the girls told me she had such fun! I told her I enjoyed making the journal too.  She says, " I didn't need to make the journal to have fun because you are really fun!"  Wow, what a great compliment-from a TEEN!  They asked for more programs, and Beth is excited that we'll have a regular group of creators every other month now.

Creative Journals in Portola Valley

We had a nice group making Summer Journals today.  Duct tape and doo-dads make for some great creative art time.  Look at the wonderful results!
