Book Art at Fremont Main

The best part of my job is helping people of all ages break free from the box they are in, and help them use that creative part of their brain that is so necessary for a balanced life.  Tonight, I had to coax many to break the spine of a very old discarded book to create new art.  After getting past the anguish (it was real), they enjoyed creating an art piece.  Look at how different they are, and I can tell you everyone left feeling good to have tried something new that stretched them far from their comfort zones.

Robots at Fremont Main

We did a lower age group than our norm, and we had a room full of 7-8 year olds, as well as a few older children.  They were so excited to get to this craft time, and they worked diligently painting their ceramic pieces.  Look at the great results!
